The main defects of flexible packaging aluminum foil are:
(1) Pinhole.
Pinholes are the main defect of aluminum foil. Among the raw materials, the size of dust on the roll, the rolling oil, and even the dust in the air reaching about 6μm into the roll gap will cause pinholes. Therefore, it is impossible for 6μm aluminum foil to have no pinholes. It can only be evaluated by the number and size.
(2) Uneven roll print, roll eye, and gloss.
It is mainly the aluminum foil defect caused by the roll, which is divided into three types: point, line and surface.
(3) Wrinkles.
Due to the serious bad shape of the aluminum foil, wrinkles are formed when the aluminum foil is rolled or unrolled. The essence is that the tension is insufficient to make the foil surface flat.
(4) Bright spots, bright marks and bright spots.
The bright spots, bright marks, and bright spots on the double surface caused by improper use of double oil are mainly due to insufficient double oil film strength, or uneven rolling surface deformation caused by uneven roll surface, and the appearance is hemp skin or foreign matter intrusion. .
(5) Thickness difference.
The difficulty of controlling the thickness difference is a characteristic of aluminum foil rolling. The thickness difference of 3% may not be difficult in the production of plates, but it is very difficult in the production of aluminum foil.
(6) Oil pollution.
Oil stain refers to the excess oil on the surface of the aluminum foil after rolling, that is, the oil other than the rolling oil film.
(7) Water spots.
Water spot refers to the white spot formed by water droplets on the foil surface before rolling, which will affect the surface condition of the foil surface when it is mild, and cause strip breakage in severe cases.
(8) Vibration marks.
Vibration marks are periodic transverse waves on the surface of the aluminum foil.
(9) Tension line.
When the thickness reaches 0.015mm or less, parallel stripes are formed in the longitudinal direction of the aluminum foil, commonly known as tension lines.
(10) Slit.
Seam is a peculiar defect of foil rolling, which splits straight along the longitudinal direction during rolling, often accompanied by metal wires.
(11) Airway.
During the rolling time, strips of crushing occurred, the edges were in a droplet-shaped curve, with a certain width, the light airway was not crushed, and it was white strips with dense pinholes.
(12) Coiling defects.
Coiling defects mainly refer to loose coils or internal looseness and external tightness.
Although there are many types of aluminum foil rolling defects, the final main manifestations are: pinholes, roller holes, slits, and air passages characterized by holes; oil stains, uneven gloss, vibration marks, tension lines, and water characteristics characterized by surface conditions. Spots, bright spots, bright spots; plate shape, wrinkles, discounts, and poor coiling that affect the subsequent processing; thickness differences characterized by size.
